James Green

James is a former student of Julian Morgan at Derby Grammar School in the UK, who having finished school intends to study Ancient History at university level. He is an assistant to the Transnational CIRCE project, serving at the conference in Nyborg, Denmark. At only 18 years old, James is also a leading European authority on the Histories of Herodotus and Classical Greece.

James' Classical interests focus on the history of ancient Greece, particularly the Persian Wars and the many achievements of Alexander the Great. He participated in the 2006 St. Saviour's York archaeological dig and has been on many Classical excursions across Europe.

In his spare time James is
a member of the UK Air Training Corps and a keen cinemagoer, when not reading about Classics!
