| My special interests
concern Classics and patristic philology. I am fascinated
by didactic technology (the use of computer science as tool
of textual criticism and improvement of the lessons in
the classroom). I am a teacher of Latin and Greek in the Classical High
school of Liceo Rosmini (Palma Campania, Napoli), collaborating as a member of staff in the Review 'Vichiana', which is in the Department of Classical Philology of the University of Naples 'Federico II', and 'Centro di Studi e Documentazione su Paolino di Nola', at the Paulinian Library of the Episcopal Seminarium of Nola. I graduated in Classical Letters in Hagiography and I am a 'Dottore di ricerca' in Patristic Exegesis, a qualification equivalent to an American PhD. I am married and have two very nice sons. My favourite text as a motto is from Vergil's Aeneid: Rari Nantes in gurgite vasto, which people can translate to mean what they like. |
