Monica is a Classics teacher at Liceo Classico in Vibo Valentia, in Southern Italy. Vibo Valentia was originally the Greek colony of Hipponion. It was founded, probably around the late 7th century BC, by inhabitants of Locri, a principal city of the Italian Magna Graecia, located to the west of Vibo Valentia on the Ionian Sea. The town became a Roman colony in 194 BC with the name of Vibo Valentia. Monica`s been teaching here since 2001. She likes very much using ICT in her professional life (she also used to teach computer basics for teachers and students of her school) and she`s always searching the way to improve her knowledges. She`s very happy to attend this transnational course in Oxford organized by the CIRCE project. She thinks it`s the best experience she`s made in her life. |
