I am a Classics teacher in a secondary school in Clermont Ferrand (Auvergne), France. I am fond of collaborative work either with my students or with my colleagues, or both. Teaching Classics in France involves getting young ones to discover ancient languages but also ancient literature, philosophy, history, civilization, archaelogy and arts, I always try to have them link literature to arts. We work with Latin or Greek original texts exclusively, even with beginners. We use ICT a lot specially in Greek using an emanual. We also build websites to show some results of the school year: Achille, Vienna, Musique antique... I also train teachers in IUFM and do collaborative work for the institutionnal website Musagora. The CIRCE project was my first experience in collaborative work at a European level, since then I have been involved in etwinning projects. |
