I am a teacher of Latin, Greek and Classical Culture. I'm
presently teaching at "Het 4e Gymnasium",
a new school in the centre
of Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Het 4e Gymnasium was founded in 2005 to
accomodate the three traditional Gymnasia of Amsterdam, that were
overflowing and couldn't place all pupils. In three years time Het
4e Gymnasium has become a flourishing school in its own right, with
very happy pupils and teachers. I also work as a teacher trainer at the ILO, the Graduate School of Teaching and Learning of the University of Amsterdam. In Rome I have learned a lot about the use (and danger!) of ICT for teachers of Classics. I expect to improve both as a teacher and as a teacher trainer. |
